Military user: WW2: USAAF 250th Field Artillery Battalion

Location: Hayes House. Unit HQ near Swanwick. E of A38, 1.5nm N of Ripley

Period of operation: 1944 only?

NOTES: See also RIPLEY airfield which is on the same site, although I suspect the light liaison types used by the USAAF probably landed on the grass closer to Hayes House?
