Swarcliffe Farm

SWARCLIFFE FARM:   Temporary aerodrome

Operated by:  Sky Devils Air Pageant

Location:  Near and just E of Seacroft, E of the A64 and roughly 4.5nm NE of Leeds city centre

Period of operation:  20th May 1934

NOTES:  We have Mike Holder, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for discovering and researching this location. One that I had no knowledge of despite having found records for around 1500 'Flying Circus' venues in the inter-war period, 1919 to 1937.
