Location: E of the M1 motorway, about 1nm N to NNE of Swinford village, 2.5nm SE of Lutterworth, and about 5nm NE of Rugby town centre
Runways: 02/20 275x10 grass 13/31 310x10 grass
2002: 01/19 300 grass 12/30 375 grass
2010: 12/30 375 grass
NOTES: It was rumoured that this airfield would close in 2008. However, providing that the Google Earth dating system is accurate (?), it appears from the pictures above that one runway still existed in 2010. The 2011 picture on Google Earth, (not shown here), clearly showed that the airfield had ceased to exist.
