TALGARTH: Gliding site

Note: Both of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Operated by: Black Mountain Gliding Club

Location: E of A479, 2.5nm SE of Talgarth, 6nm ENE of Brecon (Aberhonddu in Welsh)

Period of operation: 1980s to -

Runways: Looking at Google Earth it appears the main runway used is:  14/32   365   grass
But, this may well be the runway best used by powered aircraft?

Marked on the pictures are what I think may well be the landing areas used by gliders, which, roughly also include: 09/27   380   grass, and 06/24   325   grass

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
