Location:  Just NE of TANDRAGEE airfield

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Certainly from 2014 to -

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.

No doubt known locally by another name? My guess is that it has been laid out for the pilots at TANDRAGEE to practice short field operations into, for example, tight private airstrips. If so, something to be highly commended, very sensible and of course a great contribution to safety.




When I learnt to fly nothing like this existed and it wasn't until I started flying from a farm strip, (albeit one with a lovely long runway) that I slowly acquired the skills to gradually land confidently at much smaller/shorter airstrips.
