TAYLOR’S FARM: Private airfield

NOTES: During 1922/23 Martin Aviation based their two (?) DH.6 aircraft here which were making joy rides from RYDE BEACH. The farm is still there but the field used by Martin Aviation later became part of BEMBRIDGE aerodrome/airport. For more details and stories about this and many other locations Arthur Ord-Hume’s On Home-Made Wings is highly recommended.
