Military user: 48 SLG (RAF)


Location: Roughly 2nm NE of Penkridge

Period of operation:  July 1941 to February 1946

 

NOTES: The initial information came from the ARG Airfield Review dated April 2005. It would appear the landing area was almost certainly located to the E of the main house. I gained the extra info that it was 48 SLG later. So, is anything now known about  the aircraft types in open storage here?
