ANOTHER CLOSER LOOK
In September 2023, Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', told me a Gazelle helicopter had been seen here. And a microlight. So, I decided to have a closer look. The detail results rather surprised me. Not least because I found pictures on Google Earth © of a helicopter parked in various places, but not one on the marked helipad!

Note the helicopter just south of the house in the 2005 and 2008 pictures. Presumably a Gazelle?

The helicopter in view One is south of the house. In view Two it is at the top end of the site. In the 2018 picture the helicopter is parked north east of the house.

The symbol of the crossed hammers in 2018 was not there for long, but reappears later, in 2022 in a different location.

NOTES:
I had made a comment that the image of crossed hammers is a symbol used by Freemasons, so perhaps this is a clue as to who might use this site? Thankfully, see the 'Comment' below, this is now explained.

Owned by David Gold (chairman of West Ham, hence the crossed hammers in the grass). Definitely a helipad, but what's described as an airstrip is I believe a golf course.
