A MICHAEL T HOLDER GALLERY
We have Mike Holder, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for providing the following info, pictures and maps etc.
The Article One was published in the Banbury Advertiser on the 28th April 1921.
Article Two was published in The Aeroplane on the 1st June 1921.
The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.
NOTES: This was an early ‘Flying circus’ venue, a concept which the Berkshire Aviation Co pioneered for inland locations. Other similar operators during this period tended to be involved in 'joy-ride' enterprises, usually at seaside resorts.
