The Old Racecourse

THE OLD RACECOURSE: Balloon ascent venue

Location: In/near Manchester

NOTES: Probably in the late 19^th century, possibly in the early 20^th century.

It has always been the main aim of this 'Guide' to record as many as possible flying sites within the U.K. Clearly next to nothing is known about this venue. But, as so often happens, somebody kindly comes along to offer advice. Will this happen here? I do hope so.
