The Teuchats

THE TEUCHATS:  Private airstrip, possibly airfield?    Aka TEUCHATS FARM

Note: For the purposes of this 'Guide', if a location shows two or more runways, I classify it as an airfield.

Note: The first two pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©. The local area view and area view are from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  Just SW of Teasses, barely a village, about 4.5nm NNE of Leven town centre and also about 4.5nm SSE of Cupar town centre

Period of operation: Unknown exactly? Google Earth pictures, which cannot be relied upon for exact dates, show no sign in 2013.  Their images are mostly of very poor quality for this area.

Runway(s):  02/20   580   grass     (Possibly another?  16/34   380   grass)

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location, and advising that G-CGFH has been based here.

I bit of delving around reveals an interesting aspect. The Cessna T182T Turbo Skylane G-CGFH, (ex N1329T), was registered to Mr H Riffkin from 14.05.12 to 03.09.20 with the address - Teuchats Farm. In other words, before this strip/airfield was laid out. From 03.09.20 it was registered to Tatlock and Thomson with Tatlock House, The Teuchats, being the address. In effect, the same place.

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome. Plus of course, pictures are very much appreciated.
