Location: On the W side of Thornbury, about 11nm NNE of Bristol city centre
Landing area: 1998, level lawn area 50m square to W side of hotel
NOTES: As can be seen in the pictures, a marked 'helipad' is still evident in 2018. In researching this 'Guide' I am quite surprised that many hotels, pubs and restaurants, who accept visits by helicopters, do not mark out the landing area with a distinct 'H'.
