Note:  The newspaper advert was published in the Northampton Chronicle and Echo on the 28th July 1919.

NOTES:  These days it appears, simply known as Midsummer Meadow.

It seems likely that J D V Holmes, a co-leader with the Berkshire Aviation Company, was using the Avro 504K, G-EACL, (ex D9298). This being at the start of the company based at EAST HANNEY in BERKSHIRE. It appears that this aircraft was registered to him from 20.05.19 until December 1919.

As so often when producing this 'Guide', conflicting information emerges. So what to trust? For example, I have found that it is reckoned that G-EACL crashed near Rush Mills in Northampton on the 21st of July 1919. I now suspect, given the advert above, that this info is false?
