Tinwald Down Farm

Note: This map shows only my estimation of the location for this site, If anybody can be kind enough to provide a more exact location, this will be most welcome.

TINWALD DOWN FARM: Largely used as a Landing Ground for military purposes   (Aka HEATHHALL)

Location: Seemingly northern segment of the WW2 DUMFRIES aerodrome, possibly roughly on the site of the College today?

NOTES: Apparently used by aeroplanes collecting spares from the Arrol-Johnson factory.

See my listing for DUMFRIES for more information, maps and pictures.
