Care & Maintenance

 

Location: 1nm NW of Toomebridge, approx 10nm NW of Aldergrove

Period of operation: 1943 to 1954
 

Runways: WW2: 09/27   1756x46   hard          15/33   1280x46   hard
                         04/22   1280x46   hard

 

NOTES: Here seems a strange thing. Although listed as being closed in 1954 in late 1944 nobody, it appears, is listed as being on station! In effect - closed.

Hi, The airfield is a little to the south, visible on sattelite view as an industrial park. I hope this helps.
