NOTES: Any advice about for how long and fow many times TOTTENHAM HOUSE has been used as a balloon launch venue will be much appreciated.
THE ICICLE BALLOON MEET
It appears that one of the first Icicle Balloon Meets was held here. Held in the depths of winter during a high-pressure period with a heavy frost if not snow on the ground, these hardy folk will be celebrating their 46th (I think?) meeting in the winter of 2018/19.
It appears from their web-site that other venues have been BRADFORD'S FARM, Marsh Benham, Berks (x 20), WARREN FARM, Savernake Forest, Wiltshire (x 21), MARLBOROUGH COMMON, Wiltshire (2014 only) and FOLLY DOG LEG, Hungerford, Hampshire (2015).
