Operated by:   Cdr. John J Sykes

Location:  Just W of the junction with B3335 and B3334. About 3.5nm S of Winchester city centre

Period of operation:  1946 to 1955   (Only?)

Runway:   07/25   360   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. Assuming the field layouts haven't changed (?), this appears to be the only field large enough in this exact location. Cdr Sykes had the Auster 5/J1 Autocrat G-AGXB registered to this address from 21.01.46 until 12.04.55.

As far as we are aware, this was the only time that this field was used?
