Note: This map only gives a rough position within the UK. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this subject, it will be most welcome.



WAINFLEET: Private airstrip
 

NOTES: There seems reasonable grounds to admit confusion here, hence the seperate entry. I came across a mid 1970s listing for WAINFLEET which states the Morane Saulnier M.S.892 Rallye Commodore G-AVPL was based here registered to Mr J H Atkinson.

Which begs the question whether WAINFLEET, POPLAR FARM and CROFT were one and the same strip, or two strips….or perhaps there were even three strips in this area?
