WAKEFIELD: Military Landing Ground

Military users: Used as a Diversion Landing Ground for RFC/RAF MONTROSE
 

Location: In/near Wakefield, E of the B974, S of the B9120, N of the A90, about 2nm W of Laurencekirk and about 7.5nm NNW of Montrose

Period of operation:  During WW1 only?
