Operated by:  Mr N Lockwood

Location:  W of the A18, just ESE to SE of Irby upon Humber village, about 5.5nm SW of Grimsby town centre

Period of operation:   Unknown?

Runway:   ENE/WSW   430   grass

NOTES
The Taylorcraft Auster 5 G-ALYG, ex MT968, (some say MS968), was registered here to Mr Neville Lockwood from 17.06.58 to 14.12.76. But of course, did he then replace with another aircraft?

We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. The position of the runway in the pictures above is very much my guess - based on the limited information available - but, certainly 'fitting the picture'.

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.
