Location:  Just NNW of Newby Wiske village, about 3.5nm E of RAF LEEMING

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to circa 2015?  (See below)


Runway:   06/24   470   grass


NOTES:  As always in this 'Guide' if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated. Unless I am much mistaken, the 2018 picture appears to show that this airstrip was now disused?

In March 2022 I was kindly contacted by Mr Peter Gripton. He tells us that the airstrip is still in use, from Easter to late October.
