Location: Just NW of Weaverthorpe village, about 10nm WSW of Scarborough town centre and roughly 15nm WNW of Bridlington town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Possibly since the 1960s

Runway:  2000s:    10/28   590   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this airstrip.

It would appear that the Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer 160, G-APYN, was based here from May 1969 to May 1971.

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
