I have to thank Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust for pinpointing this location.

Location: Just SW of the A432/A48 junction, about 4.5nm SW of Cardiff city centre

Period of operation: 1930s only?

NOTES:  Site for several venues

Venue (27th May 1933) for Sir Alan Cobham's National Aviation Day Display Tour

Venue (3rd June 1934) for Sky Devils Air Circus Tour of the UK.

Venue (10th & 11th June) for Jubilee Air Displays 1935 Tour.

I have yet to find that this site was used as an established aerodrome, and I very much doubt it was. Instead a venue over at least three years for visiting 'Flying Circus' operators. Any advice will be most welcome.
