NOTES: This was one of seventy four  AA (Automobile Association) approved Landing Grounds in mainland Britain during the 1930s. It appears it was located next to Centery Lane, in/near West Down. There was no hangar listed in 1938 and the nearest telephone was in the Muddiford Post Office.
