Location: Just S of Whatfield village, 2nm N to NNW of Hadleigh

Period of operation: 1970s to -
 

Runways: 1990: 06/24   600   grass              15/33   400   grass

 

NOTES: Although mainly listed as a gliding site in 1977 these GA aircraft were listed as based here:

Auster J/1 Autocrat G-AGTP of the Essex & Suffolk Gliding Club, Auster J/1N Alpha G-AHHT, G-ASEW (?), PA-28 Cherokee 140 G-ASVZ, G-AVLM (?), Cessna F.150G G-AVMF, Cessna F.172H G-AWCH, PA-28 Cherokee 140B G-AXJW of Peter Colby (Commercial) Ltd and Alpavia-Fournier RF-3 G-AYJD.
