NOTES: A few years ago I made this comment - "The very limited information regarding this airstrip, which is possibly only used by microlights was obtained from the AAIB report EW/G2014/08/01." Can anybody provide additional information? See below.

Without any doubt, in more recent years, probably mostly since the 1980s, the scene in which so many people decided to go flying with an engine, has changed quite dramatically with the emergence of so many microlight types. So much more affordable than petrol guzzling G.A. types which were normally the only option previously available.

A list published in August 2018, shows the range of  types that could be seen here:

G-BZED                        Pegasus Quantam 15-912
G-CBOP                       Jabiru UL-450
G-CCNG                       Flight Design CT2K
G-CCOW, G-CCWV        Pegasus Quik
G-CIZF                         Ozone Indy/Paramotor Flyer Trike 'Magic Cyclone'
G-CFPR                        P & M Aviation Quikr
G-CFVF                        Kiss 400-582
G-MYHM                      Cyclone AX3/503

This list seems to span pretty much all the major airframe configurations used by the microlight fraternity.
