Location:  S of the B3090, W of the A361, about 1.75nm NNE to NE of Frome town centre

Period of operation:   21st February to the 2nd March 1926

NOTES:  The air-to-air photo is from Berkshire Aviation Tours and dated the 26th February 1926.Taken more or less overhead the temporary aerodrome at WHITECHAPEL FARM, the Avro 504K G-EBKB, (ex E2969), was registered to F J V Holmes in September 1924. Fred Holmes was the owner of Berkshire Aviation. Under another later owner it crashed into the sea off Scarborough in September 1931.
