Whitefields Farm

Note: This map only gives a rough position within the UK. If anybody can kindly offer advice this will be much appreciated.

WHITEFIELD’S FARM: Private airstrip

Location: Near to SOUTH MOLTON airfield, (According to the AAIB report, see below). Near to Whitefield and Brayford, roughly 6nm N of South Molton town.

Period of operation: 2004 only?

Runway: E/W   320   grass

NOTES: Listed in AAIB report, Ref: EW/G2004/10/05.

Looking into this only makes matters worse - it is all very confusing. Indeed, it can appear that 'SOUTH MOLTON' and WHITEFIELD'S FARM are possibly one and the same.

A good look at Google Earth (image date 2010) appears to reveal no evidence of a prepared airstrip in the vicinity. Not that one is needed of course.
