Location: Just S of Wicken village on the A1123, about 6nm SSE of Ely town centre and roughly 6.5nm NW of Newmarket town centre
Period of operation: Unknown? The 1999 picture above shows the strip as being a bit rough and after 2021 it appears to have become disused?
Runway: 01/19 c.260 (?) grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. He reckons an Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat was probably based here?
