Location:  Just SW of Chelmsford town centre

Period of operation:  Accounts vary - from 1914 seems certain - until 1915 or 1916?


NOTES:  Some accounts say this was a Landing Ground, others a Night Landing Ground. I suppose it might have been both?

Unusually I cannot seem to find any accounts of which Flights or Squadrons used this location. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
