Operated by:  Willy Howe Model Flying Club

Location: Roughly halfway between Wold Newton and Burton Fleming, 7.5nm NW of Bridlington town centre

Period of operation:  Mid 1990s (?) to -

NOTES:  It has always been my intention, ever since starting work on this 'Guide' over twenty years ago in the late 1990s, to include model flying sites.

For one very good reason - the entire history of fixed wing aircraft, right from the very start, has depended on model aircraft. And to quite a large extent, going back to Sir George Cayley in the early 19th century. And of course, models are still used in wind tunnels to explore new ideas to advance aerodynamics.
