WINDING WOOD: Private airstrip
Location: N of A4, S of the M4, roughly 3nm NE of Hungerford
Period of operation: 1984 to 1990?
NOTES: When starting this 'Guide' I would have assumed that this airstrip was RADLEY FARM - see seperate entry. However, experience has taught me to be very wary about jumping to such simple conclusions. Private airstrips abound in this region, so it is quite likely this was another strip which existed many years ago.
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
