Military users:  RNAS/RAF   (Royal Naval Air Service / Royal Air Force) 


Location:  About 1nm NW of Wittersham village which is on the B2082 roughly halfway between Tenterden and Rye

Period of operation:  1915 to 1920 (?)


NOTES:  This was a mooring-out Station for CAPEL-le-FERNE which had eight airships 'on-charge', at least most of  the time.
