Note: This map only gives a rough idea of where this airstrip could have been located. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

WOOTTON: Private airstrip

Location: Very roughly Wootton lies fairly central in a triangular area with East Cowes to the NW, Ryde to the E and Newport to the SW

NOTES: Nothing much known but it seems a DHC.1 Chipmunk and Miles Messenger were being operated from an airstrip just N of Wootton in the 1950s/60s. Is anything more known?
