WYBERTON: Private airfield

Operated by: 1980s: Crop Aviation


NOTES: Without too much doubt this site is BOSTON / WYBERTON FEN aerodrome? However I can find no mention of Crop Aviation operating there, the crop spraying operator at BOSTON being the Lincs Aerial Spraying Co.

I shall therefore keep this as a seperate listing just in case Crop Aviation had a seperate strip in the vicinity? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

This is the site of Boston Aero Club (you can find their site via Google). Mostly Microlites etc, and a school for such. It's also used by the Air Ambulance helicopter on occasion (and Royal visits to the town). Had a yearly meet in July until recently, with vintage aircraft in attendance.
