Location:  In the Atomic power station complex, W of Cemaes Bay, about 10nm NE of Holyhead town centre

NOTES:  I have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for adding this listing.

BUT - A BIG GRUMBLE
Anglesey is not well served by Google Earth, and, as far as I can see on the very limited images available, this helipad has only recently been constructed. Considering its location, and with construction starting in 1963, surely a helicopter landing area must have existed? Almost from the start?

With the version of Google Earth © I have installed, there is so often a major problem. For some, for me at least, utterly stupid reason, some nerd or bunch of nerds employed by Google have decided to superimpose modern imagery onto much older images. Thereby completely destroying the value of the earlier images for historical research. Why?

Could it be, for example, that doing this has obliterated evidence on an earlier helipad?

As always, if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
