It appears that Stallard Airways used this location, but the really big event was the arrival of Sir Alan Cobham's National Aviation Day display tour who performed on the 29th July 1932. The address given was Parsonage Farm. This tour started on the 12th April and finished on the 16th October. One hundred and seventy four venues had been planned, and without much doubt, they managed to perform at most of them, even in poor weather.
