Location: S of the A534 and Clutton village, roughly 8nm SSE of Chester
 

Landing area: 1998, 20ft square concrete pad in large open area 100m NNW of main complex


NOTES: A look at the site on Google Earth (image date 2010) appears to show no evidence of this helipad. However, the growth of nearby trees might well explain why it is no longer used. 

In May 2023 I was kindly contacted by Mr Mark Taylor who pointed out that the 'new' helipad is positioned just to the west of the Spa Centre, itself a new addition to the site. The 2018 picture above clearly shows that this helipad was in position before work on the Spa Centre commenced, but, it hadn't been here very long.

Which of course begs the question - where did helicopters land in between times? Assuming of course that they did?
