CLAYPIT HILL: Private airstrip (Aka LITTLE EVERSDEN)
(Known by another name locally I'm sure?)

Location: Just NW of Little Eversden village, about 6nm SW to WSW of Cambridge city centre
Period of operation: Unknown? Clearly around 2003, later around 2020(?) to -
Runway: 02/20 400 grass

Scrolling through Google Earth images it does appear that this airstrip was disused for quite a while, perhaps from 2006 to around 2008 or more? Seems to have been reinstated around 2012? There are of course many reasons why an airstrip might become disused. Owner working abroad, becoming deceased, etc, etc.
If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated. Pictures are always most welcome.
