Operated by:  1960s to 2011 - W. A. Braim Ltd

Location: 2.5nm E of the A164 at Hutton Cranswick, 3nm SSE of Driffield

Period of operation: 1960s to 2013

Runway:  12/30   460   grass

NOTES: Not to be confused with RAF HUTTON CRANSWICK WW2 aerodrome which was just W of the A164.

Aircraft identified to have been based here, and operated by W.A. Braim Ltd are:

The Auster J/1N G-AGXN    (07.06.66 to 21.02.72)

The Jodel D.140B G-AZMA   (10.01.72 to 02.09.82)

The Piper PA-25 Pawnee 150 G-ATFR    (21.12.87 to 23.08.89)

The Jodel D14 G-BWAB  (25.01.95 to 22.02.2011)

It appears that after William Alan Braim died, Doreen Braim, presumably his widow (?), registered G-BWAB in her name from 19.07.2012 to 03.05.2013. Shortly after it appears, in August probably, the airstrip ceased being operational.
