Note:  Both of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location: On the southern side and just outside the WW2 FEARN airfield

Runway:  06/24   650x50   grass

2018:  06/24   840   grass

NOTES: Initially, many years ago, the only mention to date that I have found for this location was in the AAIB report EW/G2014/07/02.  It appears possible that the Zenair CH 601 ULA Zodiac (G-CBAP) might have been based here?

Looking it up on Google it now appears this airfield now has planning permission (2016) and might well have future potential to expand its remit.

In October 2017 I was kindly contacted by David M Edes who sent me this link:  https://easterairfield.co.uk/   Well worth a look with some great pictures.
