FRENSHAM: Private airstrip (Aka WISHANGER PARK)

Location: SW of Frensham village, near Churt, roughly 3nm S of Farnham
Period of operation: 1990s (?) to -
Runway: 08/26 1000x20 grass (In 2006 07/25)
NOTES: Evidently an execeptional and well organised airstrip. Having such a long runway sets it apart from most airstrips, both in this area and eslewhere in the UK. Indeed, not so many busy regulated aerodromes can claim in SE England can claim to have such a long runway.
This said, applying the 'ruler' on Google Earth seems to reveal the runway is 940 metres long, but nevertheless if this is correct, the comments above still apply.
