Night Landing Ground for 77 (Home Defence) Sqdn

Location: Gilmerton today is an outer suburb of Edinburgh so this airfield was roughly 3.5nm SE of the city centre near the A772 or perhaps A7?

Period of operation: 1916 to 1919

Site area: 59 acres 549 x 430
