Location: About 1.5nm E of Waverton on the A41, 4.5nm ESE of Chester city centre

Period of operation:  1986 to ?   (Apparently disused by around 2010?)

NOTES:  Searching around on the inter-web there is quite a bit of information around. But little of any use regarding the period of operation. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

Unusually, even the pictures above offer little useful information. For example why did the hangar only appear in 2005? And indeed, was it still there in 2010 but hidden by trees? Or of course, was it still operational in 2010?
