Hallams Strip
HALLAM’S STRIP: Private airstrip, previously private hang-gliding site

Location: Near Torquay
Period of operation: 2002 to - (as an airstrip)
Runway: Roughly N/S about 137 metres and “banana shaped”, grass.
Note: On a fairly severe incline so take-offs are downhill and landings uphill
NOTES: Mr Vince Hallam appears to be a well known personality in the hang-gliding community, so I was a tad disappointed not to find any information. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
I do hope that a few people at least, in the hang-gliding community, will have noticed that I am very keen to include as many sites as possible.
