HEATH FARM:   Private airstrip    (Aka WELLINGORE)

Location: Just N of the RAF WELLINGORE airfield, about 1nm SSE of Wellingore village on the A607 and about 8nm NW of Sleaford town centre

Period of operation:  Nothing seen in 1999, so presumably from around 2003 (?) to - 


Runway:  Originally 10/28   700   grass    (Later extended by around 160 metres at the western end)


NOTES:  As always in this 'Guide', advice and information is most welcome. And pictures very much appreciated.

Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', tells us that the Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II, G-BTNV, was based here from 2003 to 2011.
