Operated by: Mr T Sinclair
Note: This picture by Brian Hope - the editor, was scanned from an article in the March 2018 edition of Light Aviation magazine.
Location: Centre of Lamb Holm island
Period of operation: ?
Note: This map is reproduced with the kind permission of Pooleys Flight Equipment Ltd. Copyright Robert Pooley 2014.
Runways: 06/24 640x18 grass 15/33 340x18 grass
NOTES: One flight guide in 2001 says the runways are 20m wide but one thing is certain - and that is this airfield must surely be unique in the UK in as much as the island is so small that even this small airfield occupies most of it!
The Zenair CH601UL G-BZFV was/is based here. The Jabiru J400 G-CEPM flew into the LAA 2011 Rally at SYWELL flown by Tommy Sinclair.
