Langley Park

LANGLEY PARK: Private airstrip

Aerial view 2017

Note:  This picture was obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  Just N of the A146, roughly 9nm SE of Norwich city centre

Period of operation:  1920s & 30s only?

NOTES: In the late 1920s and early 1930s a grass airstrip was in use at LANGLEY PARK, in front of the Hall. A DH60 Moth, (or similar) was seen in the park in 1927/28, possibly flown by a Capt. Peters who lived nearby?
