Note:  The itinerary for Cobham's venues in this region, from the 27th August to the 3rd September 1933, was published in the Cornish Guardian on the 24th August 1933.

NOTES:  The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.

In 1933 the Cobham National Aviation Day organisation arranged for two display tours, both starting on the 14th April. Worth mentioning is that Sir Alan Cobham had also conducted a tour of South Africa, (with 68 venues), from the 23rd November until the 17th February after his 1932 tour of 174 planned venues finished on the 16th October.

The No.1 Tour commenced at CENTRAL PARK, Dagenham, in ESSEX and was planned to visit 116 venues, and terminated at CHERTSEY LANE, Staines in Surrey on the 8th October. The No.2 started at HOLT FARM, Southend, also in ESSEX, and was planned to visit 161 venues. The difference being that the No.1 Tour had many more two-day displays.  LANKELLY FARM was the 128th venue for the No.2 Tour.

It seems surprising, indeed even incredible today (?), but, it does appear that for the majority of venues they arrived on time for a display.
