Llandovery

Note: This map only gives the position of Llandovery town within the UK.

LLANDOVERY: Military airfield/airstrip?

Location: Llandovery is situated where the A483 joins the A40 just outside the NW sector of the Brecon Beacons National Park

NOTES: It seems little more than a suspicion that some sort of military airstrip/airfield existed here in WW2, but the suspicion does come from a very well informed source. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this, it will be most welcome.
